Children's Books
My children’s books are rooted in curiosity, imagination, and connection. Each story invites young readers into a shared experience where wonder, problem-solving, and quiet moments of understanding take center stage.
These stories are created to be read aloud, revisited often, and woven into the rhythm of home, classroom, and community life. Within these pages, Deaf characters and children with hearing devices are represented as they are - fully themselves, woven naturally into stories of everyday adventure and connection.
Danielle has been invited as a presenting author by Lowcountry Parent and The Post and Courier. Most recently presenting Charleston Treasure Hunt Adventure at the Wando Mount Pleasant Library's ASL Story Hour.
Current titles are featured below, with additional work in development!

Charleston Treasure Hunt Adventure
A city-wide adventure through Charleston
Charleston Treasure Hunt Adventure invites children into a playful, city-wide adventure through the heart of Charleston. As readers follow clues across beloved local landmarks, they’ll discover hidden details, light touches of Charleston history, and even a bit of pirate lore along the way.
Designed to be inclusive and welcoming for all readers, the story naturally introduces children to American Sign Language (ASL) and features diverse characters — including children with hearing devices — as part of everyday adventure and friendship.
Filled with imagination, exploration, and problem-solving, Charleston Treasure Hunt Adventure is perfect for families, classrooms, visitors, and young Charleston explorers alike.

The Lost Puppy Adventure
An everyday adventure about bravery
The Lost Puppy Adventure follows a young child on a familiar but meaningful journey shaped by curiosity, independence, and compassion. The story focuses on the adventure itself, allowing Deaf representation to exist naturally within the narrative rather than defining it.
Written with educators, families, and young readers in mind, this book is designed to be read aloud, revisited often, and used as a tool for building confidence, self-identity, and connection.
Available in hardcover, paperback and ebook.
