About Danielle

Danielle Jones is a faith-driven entrepreneur, fine artist, potter, author, and creative leader whose work is rooted in storytelling, craftsmanship, and connection.

​

Before founding The Faithful Oak, Danielle built a career in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, and community impact. As an fundraising executive, she raised millions of dollars for meaningful causes, partnered with hundreds of volunteers, and led more than 400 nonprofit events focused on connection, growth, and mission-driven work. Her leadership career included serving as CEO of a nonprofit in the film industry.​

After moving to the Charleston Sea Islands, Danielle intentionally transitioned from executive leadership to founding The Faithful Oak, a creative studio bringing together fine art, pottery, books, and creative experiences.​​

Danielle’s artwork has been exhibited at the Toledo Museum of Art, the U.S. Embassy in Tanzania, the South Carolina State Art Show, and the Coastal Carolina Fair. In 2025 and 2026, her work was selected for the prestigious Spoleto Festival USA exhibitions, and her work has also been featured in the MOJA Arts Festival Juried Art Exhibition, as well as galleries and shops throughout the Lowcountry. She currently serves as Resident Potter at The Goatery at Kiawah River. Her pottery can also be found in restaurants and shops throughout the Sea Islands.

As a children’s book author, Danielle creates inclusive and adventurous stories centered on connection, curiosity, and seeing yourself represented. Her second book series introduces young readers to the beauty and history of Charleston while incorporating Deaf representation and ASL. Her writing has also appeared in BOLD Journey Magazine, Canvas Rebel, Faith Driven Entrepreneur, Johns Island Living Magazine, and Launch X. She has been featured twice by South Carolina Voyager, most recently in its Daily Inspiration series highlighting her creative journey.

Danielle holds an MBA in International Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Professional Sales and Marketing from the University of Toledo. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and a Maxwell Leadership certified speaker, trainer, and coach. Danielle is also learning American Sign Language as part of her belief in fostering connection and communication.​​​

Today, whether she is painting, working with clay, writing, teaching, or bringing people together around a creative experience, Danielle’s work is guided by a simple belief: the things we create can give us a reason to gather, connect, and make memories together.

​

Outside the studio, Danielle is happiest spending time with her favorite people, exploring new places, traveling, and creating together around the table. Some of her favorite moments are simple ones: gathering with her family to make art, share a meal, dream up new adventures, and make memories together. That love of creativity, connection, and discovery naturally finds its way into the stories she writes and the work she creates.
